Inspired by a painting of Gerard Gasiorowski, I created this bookcase with marquetry ornaments. This bookcase sits on each side of a fireplace and the inlay mounted on the lower doors come from an interpretation of one of Gasiorowski’s masterpiece.
The veneers used are Oak, Ash Tree, Pin Oak and Burr Oak.
This table was designed by the architect Paulo Reyes. Used as a sideboard, it sits against the wall most of the time but can be used as a desk.
Slide it to the center of the room and it becomes a dining table and a great space saver for small living areas.
Collaborating on this project I chose Jatobá veneer as the main material and designed the coulisse that takes the tabletop sliding panel.
